Who runs this site
CrustMath (crustmath.pages.dev) is run by an independent developer based in Yerevan, Armenia (“we”). Contact: southbench.labs+crustmath@gmail.com. We are the controller of the personal data described below.
In short
There are no accounts. The calculators run in your browser — the numbers you type are never sent to us or to Google. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which tools are used, but only if you click “Accept” on the cookie banner — until then nothing is sent to Google. There are no ads, and we don’t sell your data.
Google Analytics and cookies
What it collects: pages viewed, the referring page, approximate location (country or city derived from your IP address; Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses), device type, browser, operating system, screen size, language, a random identifier stored in a cookie, and an event when you use a calculator (not the values you enter).
Why: to understand which pages and calculators are useful and improve them.
Legal basis: your consent (UK/EU GDPR Art. 6(1)(a), PECR and ePrivacy rules), which you can withdraw at any time.
Who processes it: Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, acting as our processor under Google’s data processing terms. Data may be processed in the US under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, its UK Extension and standard contractual clauses. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Our settings: Google signals off, advertising features off, data sharing with Google for its own purposes off, user-level data kept for 14 months.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors | Up to 2 years (most browsers cap at 400 days) |
_ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | Keeps session state | Up to 2 years |
cm-consent (local storage) | CrustMath | Remembers your Accept / Decline choice | 12 months, then we ask again |
Your choice: use Cookie settings (also at the bottom of every page) to accept or decline at any time. Declining stops analytics and deletes the Google Analytics cookies. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as “Decline”. You can also install Google’s opt-out add-on.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes your IP address and request details to deliver and protect the site. We don’t receive or keep individual access logs.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete them within 12 months.
What we don’t do
No accounts, no advertising, no selling or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, no profiling.
Your rights
UK and EEA: you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time (this doesn’t affect earlier processing). Email us. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority. Analytics data is pseudonymous and we usually can’t link it to you, so declining in Cookie settings or deleting cookies is the quickest option.
US: we don’t sell or share personal information or use it for targeted advertising. You can turn analytics off in Cookie settings.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will update this page before adding advertising or affiliate links, and change the date above.
